Although the population of Ireland as an island is only about 7 million           (5 million people live in the Irish Republic and another 2 in the Northern Ireland) , it is estimated that between 50-80 million people around the world claim to have Irish ancestry. The Irish rich cultural heritage is widely celebrated and appreciated all over the world.
